Magazine is a series of paintings on paper from 2006. Using magazine covers as a starting point they are deconstructed and then embellished, or simply reconstructed. Some are based on actual magazine covers such as the Life Magazine cover of Lee Harvey Oswald (1963). Some of the works borrow familiar cover formats such as Vogue's. Some are pure invention, as in Pataphysics Weekly, which examines thematic aspects of the life and work of Alfred Jarry. There are four large works, the largest being 98 x 73 inches. Smaller works measure 14 x 11 inches.
